Superstar rapper Eminem has fired back at his ex-wife Kim Mathers in a statement released by his publicist today (Feb. 16).
Eminem's ex-wife Kim appeared on the "Mojo in the Morning" show this morning on Detroit's WKQI 95.5.

During the interview, Kim revealed that she had to force her children to visit Eminem, that he wasn't taking care of their daughter Hailie Jade or Kim's other children and that he was still on drugs.

"It's a shame that I've moved on and Kim hasn't," Eminem said in a statement today. "Her ongoing press campaign is doing nothing but harm to the children, and for that I feel truly sorry. For their sake I wish she would stop."

If Eminem really meant what he said, why doesn't he go on WJLB or something and tell his side of the story HIMSELF, rather than through a fancy publicist.

I get the feeling he wants to handle this with some manner of class. Telling your side of the story on Mojo in the Morning, as entertaining radio as that may be, isn't exactly the way I'd want to deal with this if I were in his shoes.

Handle it with some matter of class? Him? That's got to be one of the funniest lines I've ever heard in my life. To associate that thug with the word class is the same thing as trying to associate G.W. Bush with Mensa.

So apparently he launched the lawsuit so that Hailie wouldn't be hurt, but according to this article, he doesn't have to refrain from performing "Kim" at his concerts.

Real dedicated to not hurting Hailie, isn't he? ::)
