Emmis to dump Mancow!

Mancow's contract is up in about a month, and Emmis doesn't want to resign him. His ratings continue to decline, and it's not worth the money they're paying him.
He said on-air that he is "Seeking another company." Not good when you're begging on-air!

Good luck Mancow! He is one of the biggest d**ks in radio.
 
So then when you say "good luck" and then call him a name you're not really wishing him good luck, then? Is that some Southern thing that eludes me? Mancow will survive, somehow, some way. I always thought his show was a yawn (notice I'm not wishing him good luck, though) and I often wondered when the other shoe would drop. He'll blame it on 1. management 2. Q101 that he failed.

It's not a Southern thing, it's a "sarcastic" thing. Hard to tell tone in print...
 
I always get him confused with that loud guy that sells cleaning products on the late night infomercials.

Maybe he can be the new Southside Steve on TRG show.
 
TER, I was also being sarcastic and in no way meant it as an attack. Q101 is going all music this summer and then putting in a show that fits their listeners lifestyles? When did Mancow ever fit the lifestyle of the Alternative audience. He's on Fox News all the time. He and O'Reilly trade underwear if one of them isnt feel so fresh. But now, with the format croaking (my theory is it's because of shows like Mancow's on Alt stations) they blame him? Now?
