Well, Emmis has signed Johnny B. I am curious if anybody knows what the Chicago Emmis properties generated revenue wise in '08. Does anybody have the Miller & Kaplan or BIA info on WLUP and WKQX? In the past, the data on most Chicago radio stations use to be printed in the Chicago Sun Times in the Feder column. But, he is no longer with them.

WLUP reportedly 16th and KQX 17th in billing, both around $15 million. Top of the heap means just under $45 million and market off about 6% vs. '07.
 
Wow, i'm really surprised that WKQX made more money in '08 than in '07. I was told they made 12.5 in '07 and WLUP made 14.5 in '07.

He is pretty accurate from everything i've seen him post in the past. But, if you feel he is wrong then what do you think they made in '08 and what was your source, if i may ask.

It is surprising that WKQX made more money in 08.
 
Chrrrr - You're wrong about the 2007 data. I got the '07 data from Miller & Kaplan ... Q101 -12.5 mil and WLUP - 14.5 in '07. I don't mean to come across harsh .. but ... you're creditability is sinking fast.

You stated: '07 AND '08

I said, "I got the figures from '07 from Miller and Kaplan so those numbers are accurate (Q101 12.5 and WLUP 14.5)." I didn't get revenue numbers for '07 from David. He had nothing to do with '07 numbers.

He gave ONLY '08 revenue numbers.

Per your interpretation, your comment suggested that '07 figures would have been around 9.5 for WKQX and 11.5 for WLUP (because '07 figures are off by 3 million per you) and that's incorrect per Miller and Kaplan. Do the math.

I only asked you what you thought they made in '08 and what was your source. It's obvious you think they made only 12 mil in '08; but, what is your source? That's all. If you don't have a source then that's fine. I"m just inquiring.
