empire signals

I can receive both signals and when I'm at my sisters in Marlton, 106.7 and 103.5 are pretty good, but for some reason even out in jersey, away from the city, I cannot receive any other empire signals, the frequencies are just static and quiet at times..

This is slightly off topic, but this thread got me curious. How well is WNSH 94.7 received in Manhattan? Is it listenable at all? Only in vehicles? I figure all the buildings must create havoc for the signal with multipath and all sorts of issues despite the signal only being 13-15 miles away. I know it operates at much higher power than the ESB FM's, so does this help at all?

This doesn't quite answer your question, but I live in Queens near the Whitestone Bridge where WNSH comes in loud and clear in HD in my apartment. If I drive out to Nassau County, the signal sometimes is somewhat fuzzy.
