Encoding/Decoding APT-X SND file--I NEED HELP

A radio station wants to carry my new oldies show (Saving the 70s http://www.savingthe70s.com/ ), but doesn't have the staff to manually record the cd into their automation system (an older Scott Studios AXS, which can't "rip" cds in anything other than real time). They say they WILL run my show if I can provide it in a format they can play directly.

The file extension is .SND, and the tech from Google Automation (formerly Scott Studios) told me tha he BELIEVES the codec is APT-X, and probably at 32khz sample rate. Alrighty, then! I know that an Adobe Audition APT-X plugin exists, but can't find it even at APT's website.

So, ya' got any ideas how I can convert this show into APT-X so the station can load it directly into their automation system, and I can become famous (but sadly, not rich!)
 
OUCH, not a single reply after a couple of dozen views. Not promising. I've actually e-mailed APT, and they DIDN'T REPLY! Are they even interested in people being able to use their codec for anything other than remotes, STLs, and (outdated) automation????
 
Not much help, but a suggestion...

I poked around the web looking for a simple answer, but didn't get very far. I don't have Adobe Audition at my fingertips, so I had to go with on-line info instead of playing with the program.

Have you tried contacting Adobe? They seem to have a deal with APT for the codec. Looking on the Adobe website, it seems like you should just be able to select APT-X as a file format when you save the file. I suspect that it's not that easy since you are asking the question in the first place. In any event, it's their product, and Adobe would be the likely source for the codec for their program.

If it's typical of Scott, the "normal" APT-X filename extension WON'T be .snd. You'll probably have to save it with the "normal" extension, then go back and rename the file with the .snd extension.
 
Mike..in Audition 3 there are two file types that can be saved with a ".snd" file extension..one is a type of APPLE .aif file that can be saved as .snd, and the other is something called NeXT/SUN that can be also saved at .snd In either case you will have to convert your current files (assuming you use 44.1 sample rate) to the lossy 32khz sample rate..that will take a while..Not sure if either of those ".snd" file types will work with APT-X

I don't know what version of AXS is in question, but the version I used to use didn't have any sort of network connectivity, so even if you were successful in this encoding process, you'd still be SOL.
