ENCORE rebrands, adds a few commercial free sitcoms

Thankfully they haven't messed with my Westerns network. I don't get it anymore on cable, but I (and my Dad) used to watch the western shows like Gunsmoke and Bonanza, and some of their movies!

The nice thing about the TV westerns on Encore is they all get nice new digital makeovers and then put back into syndication after their pay cable runs are finished :)

Why two episodes of Amen? There are plenty of 30 minute sitcoms that would fit in that lineup and I doubt anyone believes Amen is good enough to be the only show run twice.

I think the second episode is a placeholder until 227 joins the lineup.

Encore Love -> Encore Classic
Encore Drama -> Encore Black

Westerns and other channels stay the same.

TV listings for December 2nd still showing the same old, same old movies. Encore is included only in the more expensive cable packages (or offered as premium channels). The sitcoms they are promoting are ones that have shown no staying power over the years - and ones nobody has bothered showing for years. Murphy Brown fizzled in syndication about the same time the network run ended. I don't see many people paying to watch this dreck.
