End of the World Live On TV!

According to Jack Chick, the end of the world can't occur until the Vatican rules the world and the Pope, as an Orwellian dictator, creates an image of himself in the rebuilt Jewish Temple in Jerusalem.

I am not making this up.

I know it's not 2015 yet, but isn't there supposed to be a Scenery channel?

There be. It's called Worship. It's on ion's digital multicast service (where available) 24/7.

That's about as close as it gets.

(BTW: I know, Daystar carries it, too - but that's only for a few hours a night)

They need to be sure that there is an option that goes like this:

"For the end of the world in Spanish, press 1"
"For the end of the world in English, stay on the line, it was inevitable anyway."

Worship TV is also available nationwide on Sky Angel DBS (Satellite) TV service.

And I wonder if Sky Angel has an "end of the world" video for the three networks they produce in-house (Angel 1, Angel 2, KTV)? Might be interesting.

Fox news has programming planned for that very same scenario as well. just a loop that constantly repeats "it's Clinton's Fault..."

If Armageddon hits, is anyone really going to be watching television? Will there be 9/11 type crawls and tickers detailing which civilizations have been wiped out? They could structure it like New Years Eve 2001.

No, to answer your question, I have not heard that at all.

HILARIOUS!!!! I will have to remember that Fox news joke

The big question is will there be anyone there to start the tape? ;D

If they're smart - it would be set up on a computer, where someone has to come in every day and "Press Any Key" to indicate that the world has not yet ended. If 24 hours pass, and no key press - initiate "End Of World" playback. :D

That was probably better suited for the Off The Air board.

The What?

Oh Yeah, that thing.
I suppose it would be a good topic for those that are into AMERICAN POLITICS!

Supply and demand, my friend. Supply and demand. If you can find enough people who give a rat's rear end about it, maybe you can flood the board with talk about CANADIAN POLITICS!! :D

I haven't been there for months myself, but that's the place to pick religious fights - not here.

MSNBC, CBS, NBC, CNN ran a loop that constantly repeats "it Bush's Fault'...
Or they could do what WPIX did after Robert Kennedy was assassinated in '68: run a slide with the hand-written word "SHAME".
