Not sure what your hinting at or suggesting. The word is sometime in January, Val Townsend will move from her early midday slot at The WEDG and join WHTT for mid-afternoon drive.
The Bull, Rich Gensler, will apparently do a six hour show from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. sandwiched between O&A and S&R. Not sure if any of that six hour show will be voice-tracked. That's a long show by anybody's standards.
Val has a great voice. Unless my ears deceive me, she's on a LOT of spots on all the Citadel stations. If the move to WHTT is true, then who's losing hours - Jim Pastrick or Harv Moore?
Val will also have to change her shtick to fit on WHTT.

Reliable sources say Val Townsend will move from her early midday slot on WEDG to early PM drive, doing 2-4 on WHTT. The move will occur within the next few weeks. Sources confirm that Harv Moore will do 4 to 7 p.m. until late March (perhaps the start of the Spring Arbitron), at which time Townsend will take over the entire 2-7 p.m. drive shift.
In the 80's, Harv Moore teamed with Robert Taylor for morning drive and the highly rated Taylor & Moore show on 103.3 WPHD. The duo gained fame with numerous character bits, the most memorable being the tales of the King of Faa.
It is not known at this time if Moore will remain with WHTT for weekends or other daypart fill-in. Townsend will be the second woman to hold the PM drive reins in the market and the first ever female PM drive host at WHTT. Until recently, Sue O'Neil at WTSS held the role as the market's first female PM drive jock.[/MR]
