(Energy 108)--Online Net Station

Also posted below as "bass pumpin' radio" because this is what this Energy claims to be.
I don't think the intent was to tribute Toronto, but instead to target the fan of Dance music in Edmonton, and by coincidence, the pirate originally broadcasted on the same 107.9 FM frequency. Today, they're online only.

Also note: I do not in any way have anything to do with their exsistence, I'm just showing apreciation for their efforts by spreading word that they exsist.

IM glad you liked it, however for me, I have found it hard to stay tuned in for more than a few minutes. Their isnt any liners, or sweepers, or any kind of I.D what so ever, Long spaces betweeen songs, Im picky about stuff like that. Its no where near as good as stations like Energy 98, Club fm, IParty Radio, Clubnetradio, or the 200 or so Dance stations from Europe. To me, if they call it Energy 108, it should at least be on Par with either the stuff Energy 108 used to play, or a Current Dance-Rhythmic Outlet, that reflects how Energy 108 would sound if it were still around today

Speaking of which, isnt their a 64k stream for that station. They play pretty decent Euro, Trance, and Hip Hop on that station, it actually sounds a little like what the old Energy 108 was like. You know, the funny thing about Fantasy Dance 96.7, is it only has 300 watts, and its located in a small Belgium village, but actually targets across the boarder in Germany. ActUALLY They do have a 64k stream, on their website, im listening to it now.<P ID="edit"><FONT class="small">Edited by midwestclubber on 11/29/05 11:17 PM.</FONT></P>

Thanks! It was nothing really, I just googled it, and there it was.
I have to agree with Midwest clubber though. Respectfully, the website is still under construction, and perhaps the voice overs are on hold until the web site is complete...not sure, just guessing...

Let's hope so. I'd hate the real reason to be so he can pirate the station again, that would ruin things terribly for him if he got cot.

We dont know for sure, that this station isnt still being Re-Broadcasted over FM. Ive befriended many Pirate station owners in the past, and generally they are very nice, Down to earth, Otherwise law Obeying Citizens that just want to serve their community, and get their music heard
