Still massive co-channel interference from KTOM here in Fremont. Nothing like dance and country cutting in and out......

500Watts from Sutro does seem to give more even coverage. I wonder what the in building coverage in SF is like now. I would bet it is a bit worse.

Re: energy 92.7/KTOM

Some power. I still get KTOM in San Jose. It's worse than ever. In the mean time, just listen to the college stations for dance music until energy gets it right. Some suggested stations and shows are :
90.3 kusf Future breaks FM Saturdays 4p to 6p
90.1 kzsu The Big Love Show Mondays 2p to 5p
90.5 ksjs Bassline fm Saturdays 6p to 10p

92.7 KNGY

Saw the data on the CP for the antenna move on radio-locator's site... I was a bit puzzled by that. Map shows coverage area moves slightly southward... looks like a significant increase in elevation, but I'm reading 150 watts for the new location vs 3000 watts from the old antenna? Is this correct? Doesn't sound right to me.

It's actually 510 watts from Sutro. What coverage is lost in power is made up for in the greatly increased elevation. It's a tricky process trying to get the most out of a non-mega signal, but you do whatever you can!

i live in diamond heights and never got 92.7 ... kjaz, kbtb, kngy, anything. the signal comes through now. it didn't before. it was weird. one day i was just scanning and it appeared. where was the tower before?
