It really is a terribly designed website. It takes forever and I'm on a cable modem that typically give me no less than 2m down. Having a Xeon processor with 4gigs of RAM also "should" help but doesn't. The whole "T3" storms and noise occuring on every page is annoying, especially if you're viewing other content or listening to other content.
Once you're there it takes a bit of time to figure things out. It's way too busy and too noisy.
I don't know about the "amateurish" station internally, the website just needs to calm down a bit.
