ENERGY arrives in Thunder Bay

Dougall Media has dumped Thunder Country on the CKED 103.5 / CFQK 104.5 low power simulcast in the Thunder Bay area replacing it with a Hot AC format branded as ENERGY 103 - 104.

Is it just me or is Thunder Bay one of the most underserved radio markets in North America? Only three full-power commercial stations and three more low-power commercial stations for a metro area with 120,000 residents. An American radio market of that size would likely have 10 or more full-power commercial stations, depending on location relative to other metro areas.
