Energy AZ Mornings

Now most of you agree Lysa D does not belong in mornings. She belongs in the evenings doing some hot mixing. Now if you were in control what would you do for mornings? Would you:

Go jockless except for traffic updates

Move Beau Duran to mornings and Lysa D to afternoons

Hire out of state talent, if so who

I would have a morning show, and hire a whole morning crew. Not sure who exactly, but anyone with a Good Sense of Humour, and a bit of talent. I like Morning Shows with alot of Funny Jokes, Humour, and crazy stunts. Dance station Presenters tend to be too serious usually. I think it should be ran just like a CHR Mainstream morning ZOO.

92.7 in Chicago did that, likely because they had been sold and knew it was pointless to hire someone. It can be done, they did have traffic, etc.

Why not? I'd sooner have a dance station put the money into the evening slot (put in two jocks).

jeffro used to have a morning show at EnergyChicago. but they moved him to the nights and had a Jockless Morning show. It was good because some of us just need some bumpin music to wake us up in the morning as we are sitting in horrible chicago traffic.

I'm sure that had somethign to do with the sale of Energy, as it happened just before they got sold. My first reaction to hearing no host in the morning was "well, their gone soon".

I liked the idea. It was nice to listen to radio in the morning without the chatter and "guy vs girl" contests, etc...but it still sounded like radio (imaging,etc).

Ditch the morning dood (and salary) and toss in a good night-time host.
