It's 9:40pm on a sunday night and Energy 92.7 is playing this really cool remix, with The Sex Pistols Anarchy IN The UK mixed over a dance beat.
NOW THAT IS COOL!!!
I mentioned last month when they were stunting, that it would be cool for them to mix it up and do some more Wilder and alternative type stuff.
Thats what I was talking about.
Not just your usual everyday Dance music.
I also heard a remix of Garbage - Bleed like me earlier this evening DAM!
they keep this up and there going to be my favorite phoenix station.
I listen to KEDJ the edge a lot, But Have this mad passion for dance music.
And alternative dance music and crazy mash-up mixes just are to dam cool.
now, if we could just get ENERGY to get MORE ENERGY, so I can hear them a bit more clearer out here in El Mirage.
when the PC is on, it's a real B**ch to pull them in thru all the static.
have to place the aerial just right.
ENERGY 92.7 and 101.1 KEEP GOING AND NEVER STOP, Your the coolest sounding station in this city so far.
And I guess I was hearing Beau Duran the other day.
I was Like "This daytime DJ sure sounds like the old Beau Duran, but more tamed down.
I guess he is not allowed to complain about the cheapness of "Sierra H" anymore.
in fact I really didn't hear him complain or B**ch about anything.
I used to find humour in his rants.
and then there's Pistol Pete Energies Token gay Dude.
You don't have to be gay to like dance music.

But he sure cracks me up.
So much radio Talent and on such a small station.
I guess Energy is getting better, but they still need more power.
ENERGY 92.7 and 101.1 "The Beat of the Woods" because the woods up near payson is about the only place there signal is ENERGETIC!
They need to cart that 77,000 watt transmitter down here to the valley and park it smack dab in the center of the top of south mountain, then watch those ratings climb
can't have high ratings if nobody can hear you.

KNRJ have an application to upgrade to Class C, short-spaced, with 41 kW from Towers Mountain, with a new COL of Cordes Lakes. In conjunction with this, KRRK, Lake Havasu City, also on 101.1, have an application to downgrade from C0, 20 kW, DA, short-spaced, to C3, 275 watts, ND, with a new frequency of 100.7, while staying at Crossman Mountain, with a new COL of Desert Hills.
I am actually ecstatic that they have such a weak signal. If they didn't, they would surely be banging out Matchbox 20 or something similar.
