reply to Eduardo:
What do you mean "Energy" had no listeners?
Are you able to look into peoples homes and cars and see what there actually listening to?
Everyone always brings up "Ratings Books" but who gets offered these ratings books, Ive never seen one.
I listen to energy whenever Im able.
They sound much more entertaining, than some boring cookie-cutter station.
Only problem with energy was there lack of energy.
I could never listen to them in my home in El Mirage, neither 92.7 or 101.1 would come in clear enough.
I was listening to 92.7 in the car every morning and every afternoon to and from work.
they played music in the morning, instead of the chatter that other stations were engaged in.
not all of us care about the announcers opinion or lack of humour, we want to hear good music, to start our day or unwind after a long day.
and the 92.7 signal has failed lately, I have had trouble picking them up even on the I-10 past 75th avenue, they fade out.
that signal used to carry all the way to my home, now it barely makes it up the 101 to the glendale exit.
you say the format is what is ruining this station, no its not the format, its the lack of power.
Nothing can exist on 92.7&101.1 for phoenix.
unless they actually do fire up 101.1 from a new transmitter site.
it would be great, to hear on november 3rd, that they will cease to exist on 92.7 and come back with a flamethrower signal on 101.1 with the dance format intact.
that would be great! for the Phoenix area, but Im not going to be in the phoenix area much longer, so I guess there won't be 7 listeners anymore, but a mere 6.
because after 4 years of this pollution and insane overpopulation, Im transfering back east to live in a small town and breath clean air again.
So good luck phoenix and good luck Energy 101.1.
I hope you stay dance, if you do, I will try to catch you online.
