It wouldn't be that hard to put on a nostalgia format that would pull an 8 share. There are plenty of underserved people, but nobody wants to advertise to people in their 60s,70s or 80s.

to "Change" things without a reason is insane... BUT, there are plenty of REASONS to change some things over there like the fact that there isn't ONE winner in the entire cluster! and a GIANT formatic hole just opened up. WHO will be wise enough to fill it?

I wouldn't call oldies a "giant formatic hole", but if they decide to try a similar formula I'll bet you they won't call it "Oldies". The format may not be dead but that moniker is.

if the ONLY station in a market of over 40 stations that was playing 60's-70's hits is GONE, if that isn't a formatic HOLE, i don't know what is. and yes, many do not call the format "Oldies"... but if it quacks like a duck IT'S A DUCK! and it's oldies. like they say PERCEPTION IS REALITY, and to anyone listening to a station that plays 60's-70's music, they would call it an OLDIES station- even if station management wants to call it Classic Hits. i repeat PERCEPTION IS REALITY. whatever......
