I will say this. If anything, this thread has made most of the people on this thread sound like whiners. Business is business. Decisions have to be made. Sometimes they are the right decisions and sometimes managers make mistakes. People get fired all the time. But, seriously, no one is owed anything. Not owed a job. Not owed a voice. If anyone thinks they are being mistreated by a manager or not "listened to" they have a choice - do something else, get another job or simply suck it up and do the job they are being asked to do. Not everyone gets a vote as to the direction of an organization. In any company, there has to be a vision - not vision(s).
Why can't the answer for all the change at Entercom, simply be that change was needed? A change was made with Market Manager. The new manager was hired. As the manager, they determined that some people had to go. Why is that such a stretch? It happens everyday. MAYBE, the people that were fired, deserved to be fired.
