Entercom Opening

Hey, I've noticed that Entercom posts their production gig opening like twice a day on allacess.com

What gives?

Why soooooo many posts everyday for the last two weeks?
 
They want to get to the top of the list as is done on craigslist everytime you re-post you are on the top. Except on allacces.com if you are looking for work you will go through the full list regardless.

They must be anxious to fill the position.......so why not apply?

Isn't this the group who blew out 10 people over that stupid stunt with the water?

I don't think I want to step foot in that building right now. =)

If this is the same group, it's pretty much the LAST place in the country I want to be.

Plus, I like the eastern time zone. Pretty happy here. My current company is the best I've ever worked for in the 18 years I've been in the biz.

If you ever get a chance to work for my company...do it. =)
 
It's not posted twice a day moron. Maybe they haven't found what they want yet.

1. Yes it was posted twice in one day at least one day last week.

2. What's with the name calling? Are you 12?
 
1. It was not posted twice in 1 day. I have posted jobs before and they only let you do it once in a 24 hour time period.

2. I'm not 12- just hate people who think they know it all and have no common sense. I just think it
is something you should have known since you apparently are on the site alot.

Perhaps the confusion lies in that they were posting two very similar job openings on the same day - Creative Services Director and Production Director. I'm almost certain that's what I recall seeing. Also, you shouldn't assume that the entire Entercom Sacramento cluster is horrible because of one station's entaglement with tragedy. There are good and bad things about working for them - as there are with any big company. It actually might be best to ask Chadd what he thought of the position. Chadd... care to share?

Take it easy, Champ. Just because you're not supposed to post the same opening more than once doesn't mean it doesn't happen... I see it on a semi-regular basis, and when the folks at allaccess see it they remove the duplicate posting. If YOU know everything and frequented that site you would know this. Who's the know-it-all "moron"?

I also saw the same thing the original poster saw. And I am not confusing that with the CSD opening as they are clearly written as 2 seperate and very distinctly different listings.

I have accepted a kickass position elsewhere and am no longer Creative Services Director for KRXQ/KWOD. They were seeking applicants for a position in the commercial production department, and-- at one point-- for my former position. Unfortunately, both ads were so similar, confusion was inevitable. According to all the ads, inquiries should be directed to Jill Christl at Entercom Sacramento-- so if anyone is interested... there's your ultimate source.

And soon... I will be revealing my NEW home...
