Entercom replacements

Looks like the replacements for Entercom's two empty airshifts have been decided. There are no more job openings and the websites have been updated.

Bo McDonald (previous B93.7 weekends turned Magic fill-in) is now listed as morning host at Magic 98.9 6-8am. As a side note, Magic's Saturday night show is no longer all-70s, it's now 70s, 80s, and 90s "retro."
"Fenway" listed for nights at B93.7 7-12am (previous overnights there and producer for Magic Morning Show). Overnights are now automated.

Can anyone confirm?
 
Heidi on Magic and Lauren on Bee would make a lot more sense. The 40+ women who listen to Magic are going to be reluctant to accept the immature morning show Entercom is feeding them. But, this is what happens when you have the CHR PD handle the AC on the side to save money.

I agree, too immature. Monnie was perfect for the target audience, and it would have been smarter to have replaced her with Heidi instead of a weekender. In my opinion, the 93.7 morning show is starting to get a little too old for the station.

Magic is too restricted. Not enough older music, not enough currents. For whatever reason, WMYI won't play enough AC currents and has worn the 70s/80s out. Too bad we can't have a well-rounded AC station like WLYT.
 
Cool! I like Zach 'er Smack. But I also heard Sue and I were coming back. Although, I'm pretty sure it was Sue or I that started that and no one who really matters, soooo...
 
Any thoughts on the new Magic Morning Show now that it's been on the air for a little while?

I wasn't too impressed at first, but it's not that bad. Don't listen to it a whole lot, but the show isn't as bad as I would have thought it to be. They seem to have some community involvement at least and aren't incredibly boring, at least it's local. I would make it 5:30-9am, though.

As a side note...thank you, Magic, for dropping those song tags ;) good decision. Automation is much smoother!
 
Smack got bad on the PILLS ::) and had to off himself to REHAB to keep his little family somewhat together.I wish him the best. 8)
