Entercom, SAG-AFTRA Start Mediation tomorrow for KYW

Mediation talks begin tomorrow between Entercom and SAG-AFTRA over a new contract for KYW employees.

Apparently, Entercom is asking for significant concessions from the employees.

By most accounts, the issue is Entercom asking the employees to accept big cuts. Such a shame, really. It's a great way to make sure that all of your newly acquired employees hate you.

Running a business is not a popularity contest. Revenues for these kinds of stations are down. Insurance costs are up. That means less money for salaries.
