Supposedly flipping 102.1 in SF to Pop CHR, while 98.5 will stay Classic Rock in San Jose…102.1 will become Q102.1. Time of change may by after 3 PM today.

First songs:

This is How We Do It Montell Jordon
Summertime Jazzy Jeff & Fresh Prince
Get Lucky Daft Punk
California Love 2 Pac
Right Here SWV
Next Episode Dr. Dre
Fantasy Mariah Carey

So it is more a rhythmic hot AC, and a good complement for KBLX. Commercial free all August.

Interesting. I think I said in another thread how this frequency actually got better ratings as a classical station than as classic rock.

So the next question is how long do we think Cumulus will keep classic rock on KSAN?

Another one, the San Francisco Bay Area market already has enough Rhythmic and Hot AC formats. Which KUZX will lead competition with KMEL, KYLD, KMVQ, KIOI, KLLC and KVVF/KVVZ.

The East Bay listeners cant get KUFX signal they will probably switch with KSAN.
