Entercom takes over WBEB

ENTERCOM has taken over operation of AC WBEB (101.1 MORE FM)/PHILADELPHIA in advance of closing on the previously-announced purchase of the station from JERRY LEE RADIO, LLC for $57.5 million. A time brokerage agreement went into effect YESTERDAY (9/9) to bring operation of the station into the ENTERCOM fold; the move follows BEASLEY taking over operation of ENTERCOM's Country WXTU under a TBA on JULY 23rd in advance of closing that station's transfer for $38 million.
