Sorry, couldn't resist. :p

But, Entercom has converted another station to their "Wolf" country brand. this time, it was the former Oldies 93 in Greensboro. Taking on a hertiage and very formidable country leader.

After this, I don't think it's a matter of if, but when we see 94.1 howling at the moon. Quite frankly, I can't wait to hear the imaging...the wolf howl will send shivers up spines. Especially on Murray Road. ;)

941wolfcountry.com is still available. Shouldn't Citadel park THAT URL and redirect it to KIX106.com, too?

One only has to look across the river to Jonesboro Arkansas where CC has a Country Legends Station, 94.9 The Wolf to see what this format could do to KIX 106. If I recall, it was # 2 with an 11.0 share.

They did it with 929THEWOLF.COM and 941THEWOLF.COM. Are there others?

I doubt anyone on Murray Road loses sleep over any critters. They've known this is coming for some time now. Big deal, another market with two country stations. Yawn.

If I'm not mistaken, the heritage station in that market is WQTR....which has former Memphis duo of Bill Dotson and Aunt Eloise Louise in the morning.
