For those with high-definition radio receivers, there are now five more radio station alternatives on the Seattle airwaves.
Entercom Seattle said that it launched five new high-definition radio channels this week, ranging in programming from all-comedy to blues.
The five new HD channels include live rock, on FM frequency 99.9HD2; roots music and blues on 103.7HD2; world music on 107.7HD2; all-comedy on 100.7HD2; and urban adult contemporary on 97.3HD2.
Many Seattle radio stations, including public radio stations such as Tacoma's KPLU, are already broadcasting second, high-definition signals.
