Entravision to retire the KBMB calls.

KHHM Are you kidding? What does that mean? Brain Dead Morons Strike Again! Only In Sacramento!

Okay Mister Sunshine. First of all, the call letters don't mean much, but could cost you if they have some baggage. Clearly, KBMB has Bomb baggage.

Also, you seem to point out things that happen nationwide as "Only in Sacramento"...Do you ever leave the city? Did you ever think that the decision was made in say...corporate headquarters in Los Angeles?

At least these "brain dead morons" didn't suggest to move their transmitter to Walnut Grove without regard to spacing requirements. Such harsh language.

I'm guessing that there are so many stations named hot, that KHHM is about all that is left. KHHT are the call letters for Hot 92.3 in LA.

I admit, I did find the call letters KKDO for Radio94.7 amusing... I wouldn't want my station being parodied as Doh!

Of course there's 92.5 with the call letters of KGBY for nearly 20 years. Can we say Gumby? Many broadcasters in town have referred to them that way.

No, more like one of Entra-lack-of-vision's stupid ideas.

the baggage you refer to is in the programming and management side. look at all the people they have fired. good decent people who got them results and now just mostly 2nd rate talent. after all the changes the ratings still stink.

You guys and gals programing Sacramento's radio stations crack me up, with the exception of 98 Rock which is a great station without a doubt, and the ratings prove it! Brain Dead Morons and "Only In Sacramento!" lol....gee sorry if I hit your central nervous system's, central nerve center...lol Mister Sunshine....Michael and from you, Are you kidding? I agree with you Michael. I have heard from friends who think that the perfect calls for a CHR/Top 40 station today is KROY, however I don't think those calls mean anything to listeners nowadays. It's been 20 years since those calls were used on a CHR station in Sacramento. If anything, maybe for an Oldies or Classic Hits station but obviously not a contemporary music station. Most of their listeners weren't even born when KROY bit the dust in 1990.
