EQ question

I want to make a boost at 3 kHz, 1 octave width.
I have to do that with 2 parametric EQ adjustments.
What should each EQ's center frequency be,
and what should their widths be?

Note: I can't just set one to a center frequency of
3 kHz and the other to 0. Must use both EQ's.
