Equity communications in atlantic city terminated their audio streams

Is anyone out there aware that Equity communications owners of WAYV, WMID, AND WEZW TERMINATED THEIR AUDIO STEAMS. Folks, it looks pretty much like we will never again be able to hear these stations online ever again, unless they are just changing streaming companies. I noticed all the listen live links from all their stations were removed. And the tunein.com and streamingthe.net websites won't work either. If anyone has any additional information on this please feel free to share it here. I guess I am right to assume that we will never again be able to hear WMID, WEZW, AND WAYV online ever again.

In a way I'm not at all surprised this happened. Unfortunately, if more stations decide to drop their audio streams it could slowly erode internet radio for music, especially oldies music, and we could slowly see the end of internet radio at least for oldies music. I really hope I'm wrong. I do know it is extremely expensive to stream music over the internet now. That's why I made this statement. Again, if anyone has additonal info on this, please pass it along as to why the Equity Communications audio streams were dropped from the internet?

They aren't making the money to pay the music fees.
