Eric Asher calls Boortz a fraud

Im not sure I've ever heard something like that before. Boortz airs before local host Eric Asher on 690. Boortz tore into New Orleans citizens today calling them moneygrubbing, no working,hands out constantly, welfare queens basically. The normal national media crap.

I don't care about Boortz opinion but was curious if anyone else heard it and what Asher said after? Asher told a story of how the station hosted a boortz book tour or something and Boortz didn't hang around long enough to go see the city. Also asked that since Michael Vick resides in Atlanta if that meant that everyone in Atlanta is a "dog killer" including boortz.

I never hear local host attempt to call out national host that air on their station especially. Anyone else remember something like that?
 
yeah in the 11a to 1p range , I was in and out of boortz but heard all of Asher till 1p
 
If that's true, nice job by Eric.
Boortz is a blow-hard and Eric not shying away from that is a signal that he may be developing...
Sad that statistically no one is listening.
