Right. But it still doesn't give a cause of death. Sleep is not even a factor unless he died of apnea. Whatever, it certainly looks like natural causes, and even if it isn't, the family is under no obligation to supply specifics.

When I first heard "All By Myself" when it was new, I thought it was a new song from Sir Paul and Wings. Does anyone else think Carmen had a smidgen of McCartney in both his belting and crooning? RIP Eric.

I believe I worked at only one station that played the full version. Everyone else played the radio edit. Radio edit was still fairly long at 4+ minutes I believe.

The album version contained a much longer portion of Rachmaninoff's Piano Concerto #2 as a piano solo in the middle of the song. Sergei actually was listed as a songwriter on the 45 we played.

EDIT: Looked it up, and Carmen thought the Concerto was in the public domain when he wrote the song. And it was, in the US. But not in the rest of the world. When the song blew up, the composer's estate received 12% of all royalties. And I just learned something new!
