I heard he got another job in Houston, where he's spent most of the last 2 & a half decades.
He did spent a little time a year or so back doing weekends and fill-in on K-Earth in LA and on
KFRC-FM in SF.
 
You mean Eric Chase, formerly of WFLZ/Tampa? Not sure where he lives, but he's now freelance for Premiere with "Chase Cuts", www.chasecuts.com

Best producer in the country. John Frost a close second.
