Eric Is Worse Than BDH

BDH is horrible but good lord ERIC IS WORSE! He is the radio equivlent of CANCER. Eric I say this now YOU SUCK! You SUCKED as a producer but you are WORSE as a co host. That show is 100% mind numbing CRAP.

Lord how desparate were they to fill a slot of s sucessful midday show they put you on MORE. You make MONDO sound interesting. I would rather listen to Kidd Kraddick and Kelly Boogaloo themselves than you. I think I have grown stupider as a human now that I wasted 5 minutes of my time listening to you.

Despite what you think of his on-air delivery, Eric is one of the hardest working people at the station. The guy bends over backwards to help out anyone and everyone he can... and when it comes to organization and production he runs circles around most. I'm not sure how you could know that he 'sucked as a Producer' unless you are inside the walls of the building (which I don't think you are) and saw what he does not only for the midday show, but the station as a whole... and if that's the case then you're obviously clueless as to what a Producer does. As well, he was Producing P&K... and I'd give ANYONE props who deals with them and tries to make their delivery and show interesting.

As far as P&K being a 'successful midday show'... Did you check the ratings over the last year before you blurted that out? Sorry, but they were on a fast downhill ride and they were taking the station with them. It'll be interesting to see them drag The Bone even further down into the dumpster if they take over mornings.

And do you REALLY think that BDH is going to be the permanent midday replacement? Of course not. He's helping out by filling the spot until the new show is announced. It's obvious to anyone with any common sense and radio knowledge that BDH is good for nights, not middays.

It's pretty funny... You say you've grown stupider as a human after you wasted 5 minutes of your time listening to Eric. It seems that if 5 minutes was all it took to make you that way, then you were already in close proximity to it. 5 minutes isn't enough time to judge the whole of someone's job. Maybe you are actually listening regularly and just can't handle that someone who you don't care to listen to (for one reason or another) has a good job while you spend your cubicle time on a disgruntled message board.

Very easy to throw darts from the sidelines. Interesting that your critique comes with no real issues. Fact is, mid days on LIVE have been weak for some time. Fact remains, Russ will not tolerate a quality show before his...because he will forever worry about being overshadowed. You will not see BDH in Mid days...my guess... I think you will find another P&Kish show with no real substance to it.

That would not be hard to do... ::)

I am no radio pro at all I only listen. I do agree with the Russ statement though. I lost interest in PK about a year ago. Im not sad they are gone honestly could care less. Just not an Eric fan although it is funny to watch him drop his business card when he cant get in somewhere.

Pardon my ignorance, please, but Eric--WHO? Expiring minds want to know...

Eric may be a cracker jack producer and the St. Francis of Assisi of the KLLI office but as an on air personality he blows. Sure, we listeners aren't radio professionals who can evaluate a good show producer but there appears to be a body of opinion out here that the current mid-day crew are knob-turningly awful. We're just the people you pro's are trying to attract so you can bill the advertisers. You might want listen to us for a change instead telling us we are too ignorant to know what we should like.

I can assure you that the pros who make decisions are listening to the people... just not on this message board. I can also assure you that the ratings game has nothing to do with the few folks who post on here. ;)

No kidding! I don't recall ever being a part of a radio survey or ratings process. I guess that means I and others who have posted here are not part of the listening public. What the hell were we thinking?

Eric is a talent, BDH has a solid show.... There is sponsorship, compelling issues What more can you ask?

If you find porn industry professionals and MMA compelling then BDH is the show for you.

Having worked in that building, and spoken with Eric and witnessed his Producer skills, I will agree with the above statement. Eric works his butt off at production audio for the station and P&K when they were there. He is what every intern aspires to be when they originally start at that capacity.

Then everyone agrees Eric works hard at his production duties and is an exemplary employee. Now, the question remains does that translate into an on-air personality that does not grow tiresome after five minutes? I contend "No."

I will agree with you on that. "On Air" is not for everyone in radio. Although most people in radio want to be "On Air". Or that is at least the reason they originally got into the business.

dead on. best to keep him in the background grunting away like a good little slave. the occasional remark or cringe worthy cackle is bearable, but i'm long past finding any interest in his sobby overly dramatic, "it was so horrrrrrible!" divorce story, his endless self admitted white guilt BDH coattail leftist remarks, and lardy "niko" advertising gimmick... there's nothing else to him what so ever. he should go back to snorting rails. at least an OD would be somewhat interesting...

So...are you Eric's agent...you should be; he'll probably need one soon...

When I read this I tought it was either Eric himself or someone associated with him. Cause honestly that is who would take the time to write something so long and take SUCH offence to what I said. A REAL RADIO PRO would have just been like well that dude hates me and moved on.
