Despite what you think of his on-air delivery, Eric is one of the hardest working people at the station. The guy bends over backwards to help out anyone and everyone he can... and when it comes to organization and production he runs circles around most. I'm not sure how you could know that he 'sucked as a Producer' unless you are inside the walls of the building (which I don't think you are) and saw what he does not only for the midday show, but the station as a whole... and if that's the case then you're obviously clueless as to what a Producer does. As well, he was Producing P&K... and I'd give ANYONE props who deals with them and tries to make their delivery and show interesting.
As far as P&K being a 'successful midday show'... Did you check the ratings over the last year before you blurted that out? Sorry, but they were on a fast downhill ride and they were taking the station with them. It'll be interesting to see them drag The Bone even further down into the dumpster if they take over mornings.
And do you REALLY think that BDH is going to be the permanent midday replacement? Of course not. He's helping out by filling the spot until the new show is announced. It's obvious to anyone with any common sense and radio knowledge that BDH is good for nights, not middays.
It's pretty funny... You say you've grown stupider as a human after you wasted 5 minutes of your time listening to Eric. It seems that if 5 minutes was all it took to make you that way, then you were already in close proximity to it. 5 minutes isn't enough time to judge the whole of someone's job. Maybe you are actually listening regularly and just can't handle that someone who you don't care to listen to (for one reason or another) has a good job while you spend your cubicle time on a disgruntled message board.
