No word on who will assume PD duties of WMGK, but I'd wager a guess it'll be rolled into WMMR's PD's duties.

It looks like WMGK can run with a barebones air staff and still be a ratings leader. I imagine VT middays, evenings and weekends. Losing Andre Gardner, Debbie Calton (yrs ago) and DeBella (last year) has shown Beasley it's the music, not the DJs. Looks like the slow, but steady demise of terrestrial radio.

Crazy that being PD of a top 5 station in a top 10 market + middays at that station + voice tracking middays for another major market station in the market's top 5 12+ isn't enough to justify a budget line item anymore.

Ratings excellence is irrelevant if they can't find advertisers anymore. That's harsh reality. Radio was never stable employment for most, but now job performance means almost nothing...
