The 18-year veteran is leaving Channel 3 for a job at Kent State University. He'll be missed as he's done a lot for the Akron/Canton community. I hope 3 will get another reporter for the two cities.

I'd prefer having a locally-based station in Akron again, but that ship sailed a long time ago. Thanks, Paxson. ::)
Getting back on topic, Eric has more than proven his worth to the news biz over the years. I wish him the best of luck in his latest venture.
