Eric Stevens The Eagle Amarillo

Our good friend and brother Eric Stevens passed away this morning, after a short battle with cancer. James Wesley Wilson (We called him "Wes") was born October 22, 1954. His radio career took him through St. Louis, Las Vegas, Spain, and Korea! But he always came home to Amarillo. He worked for just about everyone, at KPUR, Z-93, The Kar, and most recently nights on ' The Eagle. We are heartbroken here...forgive us if we're not too chatty the next day or two. Eric was so thankful for the outpouring of good wishes from our Eagle listeners. Flowers..calls...hundreds of emails. He read them all. He was a very religious man, and we all know his stuggles here have ended, and he's safely in the arms of our Lord. We miss him so very much.

I remember Eric from my Amarillo days. Always struck me as a talented guy.
