ERIKA TARANTAL OUT AT WVIT-30

Anybody care to comment why all the anchors seem to be fleeing WVIT? Garrett and now Tarantal have left. Erika is now at WNBC as a reporter.

Everybody seems to leave the Hartford/New Haven TV market for bigger places (NY, Boston, Philly). Particularly reporters. Ancorst seem more stable, with the exeption of the NBC 30 exodus.

I'm sure Garrett had better opportunities as "chief" meterologist at Fox 61.

Anyone know what happened to Keisha Grant? I thought she was also replaced because there has been a new girl, Ivonne Nava, doing the morning show. But Keisha seems to appear and disappear at random. Not sure what's going on there.

Speaking of, NBC30 has been hurting in the Pinpoint Weather Center with the loss of Garrett. They only have Brad Field, Bob Maxon, and Ryan Hanrahan to cover a ton of newscasts. This wintry bout has not helped them either with the extra storm coverage. Bob was saying the other day that he was working his 8th straight day. Did anyone see two weekends ago they used someone live from NBC Weather Plus to do the weather? I imagine NBC30 will be hiring a new meteorologist soon.

Rachel who did Time Saver Traffic at Channel 3 who is now working at FOX 61 for the new morning show once worked in New York City at WCBS 2 and she didn't like it as she was just placed in a small room doing traffic. As when she was at Channel 3 she got to be in the open and do traffic. Also anyone remember that Rachel once worked at NBC 30 before coming to Channel 3 but after working in NYC at WCBS 2.
