1. ESPN should have known that when they help to hype up one of their employees, especially in the sports field, that they help to give her value beyond what they think she's worth to them. That's not to say she would do well at Fox or whether Fox made the right decision in hiring her but all that butt-kissing (even when they eventually scaled down her duties towards the end of her contract) she got at ESPN was just leverage for her to extend her career beyond the usual sell-by date for the ubiquitous eye-candy "sports personalities" the Big Media like to trot out to appeal to the immature male sports fans. Good work, Erin. Just don't cry too much or it would be transparent to even Stevie Wonder.
2. Will she do a Gus Johnson and do freelance work, like he has done for the San Jose Earthquakes?
3. When is Gary Thorne leaving? NBCU could use him in a major way. Besides, there is a chance that NBC could get some baseball back, depending on how the TV negotiations go.
