ERNIE ANDERSON

I bought a bootleg set of Carol Burnett shows on DVD & in one episode during that Q&A session she always began with, someone asked when Ernie Anderson was going to be on. He did, in fact, make an appearance later in the show but I seemed to remember there was some Providence radio connection with him. He was born in Lynn, Mass & got his radio start in Vermont but what I've found online is that he did work in Providence radio. I assume it was before everyone's time here, but does anyone know where?

Another voiceover God. He's dead but there's still a website where your station can use his voice and liners.

Check out the Browse Ernie Library section. You can't hear the samples but there are some great liners here.

"Dropping the beat from the top of the Pru" and "KISS 1-Ho-Ho-Ho-8" are two lines that come to mind (from KISS/Boston) when I hear his name!
