Will Erykah Badu's striptease and shooting publicity stunt at the sight of former President Kennedy's assassination encourage or inspire anyone to spin her music more? Sounds like just something to talk about actually. I would suggest to publicity-hungry musicians and singers that they focus on making good music as the best way to encourage airplay and sales.
 
In other words, they need to be treated as objects, and prostitute themselves to make it. How sad ... and unnecessary if you're a strong-willed woman who is not going to lower yourself, and take this mess.
 
Hate to say it but Britney Spears didnt make the big bucks because of her singing .
 
Possibly true about Britney (I think she's a mediocre singer), but regardless, Eryka Badu had more credibility as a true "artist", which is hurt by immature stunts like this. True artists, with something of value to share, should leave silly stunts to the Britney's and Lindsay Lohans of the world.
