Es to CO and TX 6/22/2011, lowest-power record beat again

Tonight, I logged two new logs from an Es opening to CO and the TX panhandle. Here's the new logs.

101.1 KDBN Parachute, CO: This was heard weakly with ads for Grand Junction, plus an ad for Cumulus Media sales. ONLY 200 WATTS!!!! Lowest-powered station record, beats K205CW 88.9 (KJIL) Follett, TX logged on 6/29/10. New #166.

95.5 KPHT Pueblo, CO: A PAIN to ID but matched two songs, Just What I Needed by The Cars and Footloose by Kenny Loggins to the station's playlist. New #167.

Here's the UNIDs, need help on these!

Here's some UNIDs I caught during a nice Es opening tonight.

93.7: About 6PM heard the opening to Deiliah (syndicated love song show). Only one that matches is WTLT-FL, but I don't think so. Any other Deiliah's on 93.7 in my skip range?

95.1: Heard "Give me Everything" by Pitbull (CHR song) about 6:50PM my time. Not sure who it could be but Abilene, TX aired the song around my time, which would be a double-hop. Any other CHRs in the skip range?

UNID SSers on 93.7, 94.5, 94.7 but probably won't ID (I have no recorder) PTA was CO as well.

My all time record distance record for lowest-powered station was WRUV from Burlington, VT, distance of 1045 miles. Station is listed as broadcasting 460W, but...

I was unable to get a legal ID, however I did get a request line number. Google found only one match for that phone number on 90.1.

I emailed the station with the song I heard and time, and within a few days the station engineer replied with amazement that I had indeed heard his station, with only ~250W actual output. That station only has a reliable radius of about 8-10 miles!

That same day I got a solid legal ID from 95.5 "Triple-X" from Burlington as well. I tried for their powerhouse 99.9, but no such luck.

Where are you located, DJK? I get the Burlington stations during tropo conditions. Plattsburgh NY (I believe 99.9 WBTZ 'The Buzz' is located on the NY side) is pretty much across Lake Champlain from them, so if another opening ever comes up for you, you may want to track those frequencies as well.

There's also WMJY in Mississippi, and WPEZ in Georgia on 93.7.... both well outisde your "skip range". There are no 93.7 stations west of the Mississippi on the Delilah station list. Maybe you had a simulcast, where two stations in the same region simulcasting, but the "other" station could be the primary under which Delilah is listed. A double hop is also a possibility. Otherwise, are you SURE it was 93.7?

Yes my radio was on 93.7, not on 93.8. However, I picked this up around 1900 local time (6PM) and 93.7 was the highest MUF noted at the time. Was in for a minute or so and I think afterwards I heard "You Gotta Be" by Desiree.

ONLY 200 WATTS!!!! Lowest-powered station record

40 years ago when the band was a ghost town in many areas, 10 watt high school stations skipped with some regularity. I remember a DXer in Cincinnati (a neighbor) who logged and recorded one of the Dakotas' 10 watters. Gonna be hard to hear a 10 watter on skip today as almost all of them are history now. Still...200 watts is a great skip catch!
