ESPN 1000 "Afternoon Saloon" Co-Host Arrested For DUI

If you can't keep illegal substances from getting on your shirt, you probably aren't sober.

What is his shirt made of that it holds "residue" so well?
If it was on his shirt, wasn't it also probably on the seat?

I drive on that section of road every night on the way to work.
Nice to know a little bit more about the people I'm sharing the road with....

I think a drunk AND stoned driver calls in to report that the stop sign is out of order.

Pure and simple.....Consequences of your actions!

Agree. And you've got to be smart enough to be enough in control to understand what you could be getting yourself into when you "let yourself go". I've really got no opinion of this guy one way or another, but hopefully he'll come out of this having learned a valuable lesson. Does he deserve a second chance? I'm a big believer in second chances....but I don't know whether or not the guy has already gotten one. I'm not so big on third chances/people who keep repeating mistakes instead of learning from them.

I have, however, felt for quite some time that "Afternoon Saloon" is probably not a good name for a sports show. Unfortunately our society contains an element that can't de-couple sports, alcohol, and irresponsible or offensive activity. This group represents only a small percentage of individuals, to be sure, but the unfortunate fact is these people have the capacity to create misery of one degree or another for everyone else.

And their boorish, inconsiderate behavior ruins it for the guy (like me) who just wants to enjoy a beer or two.....responsibly....at a ballgame, sports bar, etc.
