ESPN 1260...whats going on over there?

Whats going on over at Yates? After that format change on Friday on ESPN, theres been all kinds of rumors flying around...anyone know anything?
 
simmons is trying to move kwnx from taylor to elgin. according to the fcc site, with the agreement with border media to move kxxs from elgin to sunset valley.
 
ESPN isn't going anywhere. They were going to use the ESPN studio for a new urban FM. Rumors of putting ESPN on this new FM station as well. Anyhow, isn’t going to happen as the LMA deal with the new FM didn't materialized.
 
i just read about the stations moving from one city to another kxxs to sunset valley and kwnx move from taylor to elgin. that kqlb is license to taylor . i didn't read or know about a lma between simmons and border media.
 
Oops...yea, I steered your thread from East to Central Texas! We have ESPN in Spanish here on 1260. It's an old station, licensed to Taylor, that is trying to make inroads into Austin and completely failing. Sorry 'bout that.
