Nuh-uh...someone in Indiana is putting sports talk on a decent night signal? Whoa, this is a revelation.

That sounds sarcastic, but I'm serious. I live in the land of WBOW with like 10 watts at night.

Any plans for any local talk shows, so people have a place to talk about the Boilers?

You guys have made a great choice, Mark.

Several of my buddies have asked me for years why sports talk isn't on in Lafayette.

Now, they can finally shut up about it. lol

Good luck to both you and Eric. I hope the new format's a success!

I feel for ya, BoardOp. Being a big sports fan myself it is so frustrating to be searching for scores and all you get is crackling static.

While our 1,000 watts isn't a lot, hopefully it helps.

This is great news for the Lafayette area!! I'm also glad to see that Schurz is doing it rather than AMP on WAZY-AM. Hopefully this will lure Purdue sports to WASK in the near future!!

Any chance we might see a return of Mark Johnson? That guy was one hell of a sportscaster back in the 90's on ASK/KOA. Anyone know of his whereabouts today?

Good luck to you guys k105mark!!!

Last I heard from Mark Johnson he was the play by play voice of the Colorado Buffalo's. I don't think he'd leave that job for a 1K watt station in Indiana.

At least I wouldn't. ;)

Yep. Mark was one of the best. Hated to see him leave the market, but unfortunately the writing was on the wall with the flip to Oldies. One of the easiest guys to get along with. As laid back as they come.
