ESPN 97.3 & 1450 WENJ

I know 1450 went back to simulcasting 97.3 back in January but is there any reason why?.....If I were Millennium I would just make 1450 a simulcast of NJ-101.5 like they did back in 2002.....At least with 1450 you would be once again be able to hear NJ-101.5 from AC down to Cape May....NJ-101.5 lost what little coverge they had in Cape May County when WCFA-LP signed on and around AC it suffers some bleed from 101.7 WMRH-LP.

101.5 starts to have signal problems in Ocean County, it is not an "indoor clock-radio" signal in Southern Ocean by any means and with Summer tropo it gets worse. I found it ironic when NJ101.5 put up a billboard earlier this Spring in Barnegat on Rt. 9. NJ101.5 is 45 miles from Barnegat while 97.3 (the former simulcast partner) is only 40 miles from Barnegat.

1450 helps WENJ reach into Atlantic City, in some of the casinos and other large steel buildings 97.3 doesn't penetrate while 1450 does.

Both are full power class B's, a five mile difference is not much difference in signal strength.

I remember the Boss when it was there. Personally, I thought when they put 101.5 on 97.3 it was a great idea and they should have never put on the sports station that nobody listens to and plays all shows from ESPN that don't cater to sports teams here. Bring back 101.5 to Atlantic County, but clean it up first an get rid of that boring and lackluster afternoon show.
