ESPN ABC Question

I've noticed on a few ESPN telecasts during commericial breaks that promos

for ABC shows have aired on the ESPN networks for many years. But now

that ESPN is on ABC, how come promos for ESPN Cable only events such as

MLB, NFL, or even the UEFA Champions League Final don't air on ABC.

I know that ESPN isn't fully owned by ABC/Disney (Hearst 20%), but shouldn't they

share promos. Let ABC air ESPN promos, ESPN airing ABC promos. It could work.
 
Does ABC even promote sports events on ABC, especially the NBA?
