ESPN and Amazon in talks to get Al Michaels

Isn't that opening for Aikman?

Not sure if the Aikman deal is official yet. But they had two color analysts at MNF. Booger McFarland is still there:

But apparently Joe Buck is considering leaving Fox for ESPN once the Troy hire is done:

back on the subject of Joe and Troy, if Joe Buck leaves Fox, who becomes the new A team for Fox Sports in coverage.

i can see them trying go to go through with Chris Myers for MLB & NFL, Gus Johnson for NFL, try to steal someone like Jim Nantz from CBS (and Romo too) or get Bob Costas to join Fox Sports. at least this won't impact the NASCAR on Fox team unless Mike Joy says it's time to retire, then if he does, they could just put Adam Alexander or Vince Welch into the role or even try to steal back Rick Allen or Leigh Diffey from NBC Sports or get Allen Bestwick back in the NASCAR booth (even if he's working for CBS Sports for it's SRX coverage) or someone else.

Joe has another year on his deal with Fox, so he's there at least for next season. Costas doesn't do football. Nantz loves golf.

I think Ian Eagle is best to replace Buck. Very underrated. So is Kenny Abert.

Agreed, Nantz is The Masters, won’t give up golf. I can see Fox going after Ian Eagle or moving Kevin Burkhart to the a team.

Joe Buck is headed to ESPN with Troy in the MNF booth. Rumors are that Al Michaels could be going to Fox Sports for NFL and maybe MLB as well.
