ESPN Boston On The Air

Well, WAMG-890 at least (likely WLLH-1400 too; I live beyond their signal area) has flipped to ESPN Radio and are (9:40 P.M. EDT Sunday, July 24th) broadcasting the Sunday-night baseball game.

Although today's Boston Globe article suggested that tonight's game was a "soft launch" to determine the quality of the signal feed from a satellite dish to the studio to the transmitter, the feed sounded fine where I am (Norwood) shortly after 9:30 P.M.

I missed the paper..."soft launch", eh...
well signal sounded fine to me.

I knew something was afoot when I saw "ESPN Boston On the Air."

Did anybody give Gallant the memo that Radioinsight sucks? At least there's actual chatter here.

Meanwhile check out the Prov board; I believe ESPN had WSKO 790/99.7 as affiliates but 790
is going true oldies while PRO-AM will be simulcast on 99.7...not sure who picks up ESPN there.

Good to have you back, Joe.

He's not here. Look at the post date. Almost three years old.

Are any more ancient threads going to be revived today? Three so far...

Yes ! More are on there way !
