ESPN BRAIN DRAIN / HOWARD DAVID

wow. i knew ESPN lost some key talent in 2012 but i was shocked to hear howard david tonight on the ESPN national feed.

it is a weird & barren landscape weekend-wise at ESPN radio these days...

Howard David is now on ESPN Radio? Last I saw he was calling games for the now-defunct UFL on CBS Sports. Wasn't he with Dial Global? I know he used to call NFL games on Westwood One (which was merged with Dial Global).

Heard some guy named Wicker on ESPN Radio yesterday. At some point he referred to Buffalo spending on their franchse QB "Ryan Fitzgerald"... :-X

Glad to see this post. I've been a big Howard David fan since I heard him calling NFL games on the old CBS Radio Sports.

I remember when he used to call the bowl games on Mizlou before ESPN bought the rights to most of the bowls and moved them to cable.

I'm split on Howard David

Love his pxp!

don't care for him as a solo host

However, in a two-three person show, I think he would be a nice compliment.
