What in the Wide, Wide World of Sports is a goin' on in Black Canyon City? Tuesday night someone took a welding torch to four of KMIA's seven towers and brought them down. The station, owned by Entravision (who also owns La Nueva KLNZ, as well as KDVA & KVVA), is off the air with no timetable for returning the ESPN Deportes format to the air. Black Canyonites have long opposed the towers in their backyard and when the station switched to espanol the anger grew. Locals and Feds are looking for suspects.
