I wanted to watch the Argentina Vs Mexico soccer game on another network other than Univision, the reason? Univision doesn't put as much exciment on their narrations, I really enjoy how Andres Cantor from Futbol de Primeras radio soccer games. So I went to ESPNs spanish network and they are transmitting the game in Portugues???Why?? Its named ESPN Español not ESPN Português.

ESPN ESPAÑOL???

Because Univision has domestic World Cup broadcast rights in the Spanish language. So ESPN went around that by bringing in the ESPN Brasil feed and have a Portuguese-language play-by-play commentary on their Deportes channel.
Just my opinion...
Since English speaking cable stations broadcast some of their programs in Spanish on the 3rd channel, I think Univision, Telemundo, and ESPN Espanol should broadcast some of their programs in English on their 3rd channel.
It's only fair.

I've always wondered why it doesn't work both ways. Doing that might actually get me more interested when I walk Sabado Gigante. Or, I find out that what they are talking about is even more incredibly stupid than I could imagine and I'd still mute the sound and watch Latinas jiggle around.
