ESPN New York Audio Facilities Moving To New Upgraded Facilities.

http://www.insideradio.com/free/esp...cle_9d022bf2-207b-11eb-ba00-5bbcd674b861.html

Ahead of its move to Disney’s New York complex in Manhattan’s SoHo District, which is set to open in 2024, ESPN Radio and its podcast production facilities will take up temporary residence on Columbus Ave. The interim location is near the current Lincoln Center neighborhood where sports “ESPN NY 98.7” WEPN-FM and WEPN (1050) are located.

The new spot will house all of ESPN’s New York-based audio work, including ESPN Radio local and network programming as well as production of podcasts, including “ESPN Daily,” “The Lowe Post,” “Sports with Katie Nolan” and “Right Time with Bomani Jones.”

ESPN, along with ABC, is vacating its current location, which has been sold to developers. While the move is out of necessity, it provides an opportunity for the company to upgrade its audio broadcast and production studios, which it hopes to move into by year’s end.
